The Nativity Story - Family Home Evening

Norah wanted to be Joseph. Madilyn had to be Mary, and she made sure we remembered that baby Jesus was in Mary's tummy. Chelsey was the Angel Gabriel and an angel that appeared to the Shepherds. Randy was a shepherd, and a donkey. Jacob was a shepherd boy and a sheep (Norah decided he was a sheep). We had a lot of fun and the girls new the story so well. They were telling us what happened next and they played their parts very well. Aren't they the cutest girls in the world? I am crazy about these sweeties!

Gingerbread Houses (Graham Cracker)

Madilyn took her time making sure her house was orderly and only red and white, we called her's the Bank. Norah on the other hand fit more candy on a tiny graham cracker house than I have ever seen, so we named her house the Candy Shoppe. Randy and I made houses too but somehow forgot pictures. Randy built our two story summer dream home. And mine was the Mayors Home.


A Visit with Santa and Our Ward Christmas Party

Jacob never did get a good look at Santa. I was probably a good thing because we might not have gotten this great smile if he did see him. Madilyn and Norah went up together- Madilyn was nervous. Norah would probably go up to anyone if we told her they had candy.

As you can see by the big smiles- It was a big hit. We will be doing this tradition in years to come.
