After 3 years of nonstop fun- It happened!

And she got a cast on April Fool's Day. This girl is a brave little monkey. She climbs to the highest most daring place, then jumps or swings to get down. Tuesday she was climbing in the bunk bed and fell on her arm. She cried for a few hours, which is not Norah. Usually you can give her a kiss and she is off to her next adventure. But after the couple hours of crying she just went back to Norah with her wrist a little tender. Well Thursday she hoped on a trampoline and fell on it again. After 3 hours of Dr.s and x-rays we found out she had a buckle fracture. I was told that it is a brake that happens similar to trying to break a new tree branch. It doesn't snap it just bends, then buckles or dents in when you straighten it back out. She was really excited about the cast. She is testing to see how strong it is. Randy was setting a follow-up appointment and she was banging the counter with it. We will have a busy job preventing it from becoming a weapon. She choose the color by herself and she'll be caring it around for 4 weeks.

You can see the dent or buckle in the radius (bottom) bone. You can also see my hand holding her hand.

Not a fun thing to endure but at least she got to pick a cute pink girl cast!

that is so sad. This is horrible but when I read that she started banging her cast on the table to test it out I laughed! Only because that sounds like Eva! and the weapon thing too!! These guys make weapons out of everything!! I am glad she loves her cast though!
